Starbucks - Zuellig

Rainy days are here again and one problem I encountered recently was being trapped in Makati CBD one Friday night. People flocked to the bus station waiting for any mode of transportation available, just for them to get home safely. But I spent roughly an hour in line and still no bus/shuttle (going to my destination) or even a cab came. All my gadgets are drained and I felt that I'd wait another 30 mins for me to get any good transportation. With this situation, I decided to look for the nearest coffee shop where I can kill time and at the same time charge my gadgets as I'd be so bored without any. 

Makati CBD really do have so much coffee shops around, but that night, they were all jam-packed. Good thing, I thought of going to Starbucks Zuellig. I'm pretty sure it won't be so crowded since this is just a new place and most people won't bother walking to the building just to go and have some coffee on that rainy Friday night.

You gotta love this place if you are looking for a place to spend some quite time or even to meet your friends. Baristas here are so accommodating and will treat you as a frequent customer from the very time that you stepped on their doorstep. :) You have your gadget but you do not have unlimited data services? Worry not, for this branch offers free wifi. Just ask the password from the barista.

There are numerous seats available so you won't have to worry about getting yourself a place. The location itself will make you really feel comfortable and relaxed. You won't be bothered by too many people walking beside the store since this is located at the building's 2nd floor food plaza.

As what I've said earlier, I was actually looking for a place where I can recharge my gadgets to kill boredom on my way home. And yes, this is the place to be! Each seat here offers you an electronic socket, which really would cater busy work force who might be caught in Makati CBD with drained gadgets (like me). Just imagine how many seats they have and you will not find any seat without a socket!

Spending some me-time at a coffee shop is so unusual of me. But my stay here made me realize it's also a fun thing to do. You just really need to find the best place where you can have a serene environment packed with almost everything that you might need. Just to add, you will feel a little more safe here given the very strict security of the building plus they still have their own security inside the store.
