Confidently Beautiful with a Heart... and an inspiration to many.

3 things I learned from Pia Alonzo-Wurtzbach:

1. You are born a winner. You're job is to prove it.
The moment you are conceived, the day you were born, up to this very day, already makes you a winner. But that also gives each and every one around you that same priviledge. How do you get that winner's edge, prove it to the world! Pia knows her game. She knows that she got it all, that she deserves much better. Since she was young, according to articles and news spreading around, she has worked hard for her family. Not only that, young Pia already manifested her beauty queen persona as she was very keen in her craft on modelling. She entered show business but did not really created a big noise, though she is known in the industry. Her batchmates had already created a name, Pia has her own stage, and that's to be a beauty queen, where she focused later on.

2. Never adjust your dreams, you have to adjust for your dreams.
She tried 3x before finally making it. She almost failed in her second attempt which quite had her think if she should still continue pursuing this. But she's courageous enough to stand strong and face the world more confident than ever! But thats not all, in between the pageants, it was told that she is really into her game by doing her best to improve, listen to her mentors and change for the better. Lo and behold, her efforts paid off. She became the Binibining Pilipinas 2015, the country's official representative to the Miss Universe pageant. Now, she's Miss Universe 2015, our Queen P. 👑

3. Feel it until you make it!
Law of Attraction. You attract what you are, you attract what you want. There are several instances that Pia confidently claimed the crown. The moment she won as Binibining Pilipinas 2015 and became the country's representative for Miss Universe 2015, every moment possible and every time asked about it, she would promptly respond as such. Many interviews and articles floated after the coronation night of Miss Universe 2015 about this. Take this screenshot of her tweet as a solid evidence.

This tweet was created after Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao in their boxing match last May 2015.

Well in the first place, she went there to compete and get the crown, not just to simply represent our country to fill that stage. 👌🏼

There are more than hundred reasons and ways our Queen P has inspired many. Let this victory be our guide in achieving our own success! Bring it on 2016!

Starbucks Special Menu: Dirty Chai

This is the exact same spot where I first met Dirty Chai. Starbucks - Villar St in Salcedo, Makati. I needed a place to stay while I wait for a friend who works nearby. My category for getting a place that night: power outlet. Yes, you read that right, power outlet again. I am very keen about this every single time because I always ran out of battery. Talk about a gadget freak who don't normally get her gadgets recharged.

Anyway, going back to the topic, I did't know what to get that night and I just want a simple drink and the barista recommended one of Starbuck's secret menu, the Dark Chai. I loved how the espresso perfectly blended with the Chai Tea taste. At least I would now have a variety if I only wanted a simple kick, yet enjoying a simple taste of one of my favorite drink. So what does a Dark Chai contains:

1. Order your usual Chai Tea Latte
2. Request for a shot of espresso added to your drink
3. Smile at your friendly barista, get your drink and ENJOY!

Get it anytime at any Starbuck branch near you. :)

Live to Feel Campaign

As Ms. Bianca Gonzales-Intal said, "join the campaign and get a chance to have your own billboard. Kung hindi pa ngayon, kelan pa?" I am still in awe with this rare opportunity of having my portrait posted in a public place. But people have been asking me what is this craze all about?

Live to Feel, as seen in their website, is an invitation to live our lives by feeling and doing. It's as simple as live your life to the fullest, take charge of your own life and be part of a changing world. The campaign solicited photos from people who are willing to share their ideas, their stories to everyone.

The main event happened last February 21, 2015 at Eastwood Mall Open Park. The area was filled with people who wish to share themselves to others and be able to influence other people with the advocacy. There were t shirt printing by Team Manila, fun and games for everyone to enjoy. Famous icons like Daniel Matsunaga, Bianca Gonzales, Mars Miranda, among others were present too. It lasted until 10 PM but there are still few who are busy finding a spot for their personalized billboard as late as 11PM. The billboards are scattered in the Open Park and will be up until Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

How did our faces (me and my friends') got into this billboard craze? Simple. I just immediately grabbed the opportunity without even asking what's in it for me. :) I saw the posters the night before, stared at it for a moment but was not able to ask about it. The next day, a good friend of mine called and excitedly shared to me about the event and without a second thought, I found myself in Eastwood art around 7PM, lined up, very willing to be part of the campaign. The photos were generated from our Facebook accounts (our choice of photo), then the team will print your billboard in a tarpaulin for posting in the vicinity. Fast and easy, right? :)

Some people might even ask, why did I even bother to go as far as Eastwood just to join this campaign. My answer is, I'm just enjoying my life, no worries, just being happy! With that, I have now my billboard posted in a public place, together with some influencial people and others who are just so willing to take part in this campaign and be of history.

Spread the love. Be happy. My life, my way. Cheers!

Visit our billboards at the Live to Feel campaign area in Eastwood Mall Open Park. Mine's posted at the centerof the exhibit, 3rd level from below. Best viewed in Jamba Juice/Dorothy Perkins area or you can also go up the exhibit circle and get to see Daniel and Bianca's posters too!
